Karla Leyba

Karla Roybal Leyba (September 20, 1962) left this world on February 11, 2023 at the age of 60. She passed away peacefully at home in Pojoaque, New Mexico surrounded by her family and pets. Karla was a warrior who never gave up fighting a lengthy illness. She was a hardworking person who recently retired from the State of New Mexico Education Retirement Board.

She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother to her infant son, sister, aunt and friend. Karla is preceded in death by her father Ramos Roybal and baby Adrian. Karla is survived by her loving husband Andy, mother Sylvia, brother Ronaldo, niece Jessica (Joe), and nephew Isaac. She was a loving and loyal person who always put others first. Karla will be greatly missed by all who loved her and her light will continue to shine through her family.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 23rd at 9:30 at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Church. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Pojoaque.
