Kate Lovato

Kate E. Lovato, 83, of Alcalde died peacefully on Tuesday December 15, 2009 in Albuquerque. Mrs. Lovato is preceded in death by her parents William and Raillitos Ortega, brothers; Orlando, Theodoro, Juan and Robert Ortega and sister Juanita Ortega. She is survived by her children Tomas Lovato and wife Pauline, Jane Quintana and Robert Lovato all of Alcalde, granddaughters; Krystal Garcia and husband Isaac, Sonya Lovato and companion John Paul Martinez, Savannah Atencio and husband Henry, Gloria Lovato, Jeanette Lovato, Amber and Cruz Quintana, Great-grandchildren; Karyssa and Jacob Garcia, Noah Atencio and Anthony Martinez as well as other relatives. Recitation of the rosary will be held on Thursday December 17th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde at 7:00 pm., the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 am. also at church. Interment will follow at La Villita Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Cruz & Alex Quintana, Ernest and Fernando Trujillo, Henry Atencio and Isaac Garcia, honorary pallbearers will be: John Paul & Anthony Ray Martinez, Jacob & Karyssa Garcia, and Noah Atencio. and Rivera Family Funeral Home, NM.
