Kathleen Ann Gibbons

Kathleen Ann Gibbons (Kathy) age: 55 resident of Los Alamos, NM she passed away Saturday August 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her Father, Virgil Scott, and Her Sister, Sandra Embry. She is survived by her mother Betty Scott; her sister Kimberly Scott of Los Alamos, and her brother Paul Scott/Nelda of Cleburn, TX; her six children Jesse, Dustin, Aubrey, Brody, Nick, and Sharla Gibbons all of Los Alamos; her cat Noveau that she loved like a seventh child; her nieces Kendra and Awdra Martinez of Las Vegas, NV, Kimberly Candelaria/Victor of Albuquerque, Jamie Jamison, and Barbie Scott of Texas; her nephews Jerred of Albuquerque and Donald Martinez/Samantha of Oceanside, CA, Paul Scott II/Larissa of Cleburn, TX, and Billy/Carmella and Bryan Embry/Latosha of Albuquerque; her ex-husband and father of her children Brad Gibbons of Los Alamos; she is also survived by many other relatives; and friends she treated like family. Kathy had a very big heart and was loved by many. All she wanted to do in her life was to help everyone she encountered; especially those in need. Wherever she went, she made people happy, satisfied, and content. She had a very good work ethic and did everything with integrity. She loved working at Verizon and Smith’s Marketplace while she worked there. Though we lost her very unexpectedly, we will always love her and hold her in our hearts. A Rosary will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Catholic Church in Los Alamos, on Friday August 18th at 6:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos, on Saturday August 19th 10:00 am. Reception to follow at the IHM Parrish Hall.
