Kathleen Murrill Lee

Kathleen Murrill Lee, 92, passed from this life on November 5 at her home in Taos after a long struggle with many health problems. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, On February 13, 1923, to Hugh and Elizabeth Murrill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and by her two sisters, Pat and Tracy, her brother, Mike, and her daughter-in-law Kathleen Woodall. She lived in Taos with many of her children and grandchildren for the last 8 years. Kathleen is survived by 4 sons and a daughter: William (Margaret), Michael (Susie Helms) of Decauter, Ga., David of Taos, Katie (Scott) of Taos, and Pat (Carmen) of Taos; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Taos was her final and happiest home. She attended St. James Episcopal Church and had many friends and acquaintances in Taos, the mountains of North Carolina and in Florida. She loved the sun in the morning and moon in the night. She was a joy to her family and all her many, many friends. Hail and farewell.
