Our beloved Kathy “Nina” Roybal, age 74, of Rowe, NM, went to be with our Lord on October 9, 2020. She is greatly loved and missed dearly.
Nina married the love of her life, Richard M. Roybal, on September 8, 1997. Nina always had her home welcoming and full of love for everyone that came to visit. All her friends and family came to visit and check up on her daily. Everyone loved her company. She loved to make Chile Verde and Tortillas de Harina. Nina had a love for scary movies and would stay up all hours of the night to finish watching a late night scary movie. Nina always enjoyed herself an In-and-Out burger and a Dr. Pepper. I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
