Kenneth Delgado

Kenneth "Canuto" Delgado, 59, of Santa Fe, NM passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 after a long battle from heart disease died peacefully surrounded by his family. Kenny was born April 22, 1955 in Las Vegas, NM. Kenny was a very special person and touched by many people throughout his life. Kenny was an avid fly fisherman. His love for music was his biggest joy, he would travel near and far to listen to his favorite rock and roll, and loved playing his guitars. He had a true love for animals, tame or wild, his favorite pet cats Freddy and Daphne and 20 years of feeding and taking care of feral cats. He left behind many, many wonderful friends whom he loved very much, and also was loved by his friends. Special thanks to his caregivers Tracy, Ana, Yolanda, Courtney, Geronimo, CJ, and to many to mention. He is survived by his parents, Phillip and Lilly Delgado, brothers: Ron (Marsha), Gary (Gail), Tim, niece, Genise Lovato (Justin), nephews, Gabriel Delgado (Cherish), Derek Delgado, Andrew Vigil, grandnieces, Giavanna and Jaylyn Lovato, grandnephew, Javier Delgado. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 5 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church followed by a Rosary at 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.
