My beloved husband, Kenneth E. Wehrer, passed away on October 3rd, 2018, after a lengthy illness. He was 68 years of age, born in Denver, Co., April 27, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Mary Wehrer.
Ken resided in Abiquiu, with his wife, of 23 years, Carol Wehrer. He is survived by two daughters, Alaina Calcurian, (Andrew Hopkins), Santa Fe; April Garcia, (Kenneth Costales), and granddaughter, Aleigha, Palm Springs; and a son, Alberto Calcurian, Denver. A sister, Karen Emmons, of Littleton, daughters Mirranda Emmons; Amber Cook, (Jared). His other sister is Kimberly Patterson, (David) of St. David, Az. Lastly, his Aunt Dixie Kampelman, of Tucson, who he was raised with. Kenney had several careers, a slot technician in the casino, a mail handler for U.S.P.S. in Denver, and an editor/book buyer. He was a great musician in the band Eliptor, avid reader, a photographer, and loved to travel. He will be missed.
A private family funeral service will be held at a later date.
