Kenneth Kozacek

January 4, 1950 — July 25, 2023

Kenneth Alan Kozacek went to be with the Lord Jesus on July 25, 2023. A remembrance will be held on September 9 at 11:00 am at Christ Church, 1213 Don Gaspar Avenue (At Cordova Road), Santa Fe, NM 87505.

Ken was born on January 4, 1950, to Floyde (Bill) and Josephine (Jo) Kozacek in Denver, CO, and lived in the Aurora area for 60 years, where he retired as a Maintenance Supervisor.  After encouragement from his son Adam and daughter-in-law Adrienne, Ken decided to move to Los Lunas. Not long after settling in Los Lunas, Ken met Marlene Williams, and after a year of creating a close friendship and love, they decided to commit their lives to each other. They were married on June 25, 2015, in Los Lunas, NM, but began their married life in Santa Fe, where Marlene lives. They spent many happy years exploring and loving New Mexico and traveling around the US and visiting friends and family often.

Ken loved to work with wood, and his hands were blessed as he made many gifts for friends and family, as well as beautiful pieces of furniture for his home. He belonged to the Harmonizers of Santa Fe and a men’s Bible study at Christ Church, where his heart loved to be. Ken was loved deeply and will be missed dearly by his family. We are truly touched by the heartfelt love and prayers shared by family and friends.

Ken is survived by his wife Marlene Williams; brother Kevin Kozacek (Cindy) of Phoenix, AZ, nephew Matt Kozacek (Meghan), and their children Audrey and Owen of Gilbert, AZ, nephew Chris Kozak (Mari) and their children Zeke and Sylvee of Denver, CO; sister Marcy Carroll (Rich), niece Cathy Paulsen (Troy) and their children Hayden and Sawyer of Libertyville, IL; son Adam Kozacek (Adrienne) and grandson Jasper Kozacek (Sam) of Bloomington, IN; stepdaughter Leah Heath (Rusty) and their children Riley and Cassi, and stepson Levi Williams of Albuquerque, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Please make donations to Christ Church: Food Depot, 1213 Don Gaspar Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87505.
