Kenneth C. Martinez age 64 a resident of Espanola, NM passed away March 2, 2021 born August 13, 1956 in Espanola, NM to Joe & Eufelia Martinez.

Survived by:

His children Jerred Martinez (Sarah), Awdra Martinez, Donald Martinez (Samantha), & Kendra Martinez; Mother of the children, Kimberly Scott; Brothers Michael Martinez (Gloria), Martin Martinez; Sisters Angie Romero, Marie Pacheco, & Lorraine Martinez. Grandkids; Thomas Martinez, Zach Martinez, Dominik Toney, Avery Toney, Airion Toney, Brookelynn Martinez, Adrian Martinez & Brielle Martinez; many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, & Friends.

Kenn’s generous heart, unexpectedly, gave out in his sleep. He had a hard exterior but a heart of gold. He was raised in Espanola, NM. Growing up, he enjoyed being out in 31 mile. He and his brothers shot rifles and hunted. In 1978 he met the mother of his children. They enjoyed riding his Harley together, having barbeques, camping and partying. They started growing their family soon after they met, which over the next 13 years became a family of six. In 1988 they decided to start a new life in Las Vegas, NV. Where he spent 20 years working in the electrical whole sale distribution field. He had a passion for his career; and was an expert at negotiating in the sales world.  He used that skill not just at work, but outside of work as well. He was a smooth talker, as he could sell sand to a beach. Kenn was an avid reader and read 100s of books during his lifetime.  He loved to play chess with his family and friends. He also loved telling intriguing stories to his family, whether they were true or not. He had a great sense of humor, making everyone around him laugh. He always demonstrated great kindness and unbound generosity.

Kenn will be loved and missed beyond words, and will never be forgotten. We want to thank all of his friends and extended family for their love and support.

A Rosary will take place at 1:00pm Friday March 26, 2021 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Followed by a Mass at 2:00pm. The burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Espanola, NM immediately following the Mass.
