Kevin Anthony Miller, a lifelong resident of Taos, lost his valiant battle with cancer on January 18, 2017. He was taken too soon, just six days after turning 46. Kevin was a dedicated father, an adventurous athlete, and a loyal and compassionate friend. On any given weekend you could find him riding bikes with his kids, telemarking down Sundance, climbing a 14er with his friends or running a marathon. His greatest source of pride and his self-proclaimed crowning achievement were his children, son Huxley Atticus and daughter Hadley Helena. It was for them that he lived, for them he fought to survive.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Lillian Rael Miller and Jacob Miller; brother, John and sister-in-law, Phyllis, precious niece, Reagan whom he loved like a daughter, nephew, Warren; brother, Mark and his wife, Aida, nephews, Carlos and Mateo; grandparents, Antonio Ben and Evangeline Rael, uncle, Joe Rael; uncle, Gary Medina and aunt, Teri, cousins, Chasity, Melissa and Matt; Aunt Ann; uncle, Dan and aunt, Pat, cousins, Felipe and Juan; uncle, Ben Jr and aunt, Rose, cousins, Adrian and Justin; cousins, Horacio Trujillo, Lee Ann Yardman, Donnie Parrett and Kim Airhart; mother of this children, Jennifer Stevens Miller; dear close friends Alexsis and Alejandro Blake; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and countless friends.
