Lawrence Cortez

Lorenzo “Tiny” Cortez, 58 years old from Ranchos De Taos, NM, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a motorcycle accident on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Red River, NM. He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Cortez. His maternal grandmother, Placida Cardenas, paternal grandparents Amarante and Jessie Cortez. He is survived by his loving Mother, Fabiola Cortez, Brothers, Raymond and Leroy Antonio Cortez, nephews, Raymond Jr. and Enriquez Cortez and great nieces Lily Ray and Riley Cortez. He is also survived by his aunts, Marcella Cardenas, Eulogia Cardenas, Sheila Martinez, and Henrietta Visarriagas. His uncles, Lorenzo “Lencho” Cardenas, Bernabe Visarriagas, Juan Valdez and wife Glenda. “Tiny” is also survived by his best friends, Thomas Martinez and James Torrez and treated them as his brothers. “Tiny” is also survived by many cousins, friends and relatives, whom will miss him greatly. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 6 PM at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 12 Noon at San Francisco de Asis Church with interment to follow at the Jesus Nazareno Cemetery.
