Lawrence Gurule

Lawrence D. Gurule, 56, of Taos passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2022. He worked for Taos County Sheriff’s Department as an animal control officer and parts salesman at Zeke’s Auto. He loved hunting, fishing, his loyal dog Rocky and riding his Harley.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Elizardo and Mary Gurule, grandparents, Adelaido and Amalia Gurule and godfather, Max Archuleta. He is survived by his children, Elizardo Gurule (Angelica), Christina Salazar (Brandon) and Lorenzo Gurule (Sivreana), grandchildren, Fabian, Elizardo IV, Nehemiah and Sarai, sister, Valerie Cisneros (Lorin), brother, Galen Gurule, godmother, Cora Archuleta, nieces, Adria Gurule (Derrick) and Lillyanna Cisneros, nephew, Evan Gurule, godson, Antonio Gutierrez, great nephew, Mateo Gutierrez, great niece, Amelia Gutierrez and many other relatives and friends.
