Lela T. Suazo

Lela T. Suazo – Age 69 a longtime resident of Santa Clara Pueblo passed away on Tuesday, September 19th, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents: the late, Benny and Emily Thompson. May their souls rest in peace. Lela was born on March 29th, 1937 in Gotebo, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband, Alfred Suazo of Santa Clara Pueblo; children: Julia Ramirez of Dallas, Texas, Jane Ramirez of Albuquerque, Thomas Suazo and wife "BeBE" of Dallas, Texas, Emily Molina and husband Tony of Silver City, John Suazo of Dallas, Texas, James Suazo and Diane Suazo both of Santa Clara Pueblo; grandchildren: Alexander and Asia Suazo whom she helped raise, Chris, Kevin, Jackie, Jennifer, Leslie, Brandon, Michael and Michelle; 8 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Ruby Williams of Oklahoma, Rupert Thompson and wife Charlotte, Robert Thompson and wife Cora, Eulah McCurtain all of Oklahoma; brothers and sisters-in-law: Henry Suazo and wife Genieve, Joseph Suazo and wife Anita, Robert Suazo and wife Shirley, Margaret Garcia and husband Willfred, Nancy Gallegos and husband Andrew, Ronald Suazo and wife Sylvia, Charles Suazo and wife Sandra and Anthony Suazo and wife Belva; and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20th, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. All other services will be held on a later date in Oklahoma.
