Lena K. Clanton, or Granny as everyone called her (83) passed away on May 31, 2021 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lena was born in Idabell, Oklahoma on January 9, 1938. She is preceded in death by her oldest son Herschel White, her grandson Joshua Clanton, her great-grandson Drew Lighthall and her youngest son, Scott Clanton.

If anyone knew Lena, knew she loved her family fiercely and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her daughters Maxine Hugill and Connie Hardy (Carl). Her grandchildren Sharon Kirkpatrick, Christina Eberts, Amanda Holcomb, Randa McDowell, Suzi Kilhoffer, Laura Clanton, Tayia Overton, Angela Hofstee, Austin Clanton, Caden Clanton, Her great-granchildren, Madison, Jhad, Molly, Benjamin, Holly, Anna, Bayleigh, and Hannah.

Lena loved to travel the southwest and go on lots of adventures. She was a nurse and loved to help people that could not help themselves. She loved basketball, cooking, and country music. Lena loved to be her children's and grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader. If she befriended you, you and yours became family. We will miss her dearly.
