Lena S. Trujillo

Lena Trujillo, 88, formerly of Espanola, New Mexico passed away on October 17, 2014 in Van Buren, Arkansas at the Fianna Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in November 20, 1925 to Augustin and Magdalena Sisneros. She was a retired employee of the State of New Mexico Forestry Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Trujillo, her parents, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by one sister, Dorila Doris Swindle of Van Buren and many nieces and nephews. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. A rosary was recited on Monday, October 27, 2014, at Rivera Family Funeral Home, 305 Calle Salazar, Espanola, NM. Interment followed at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. A memorial mass at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Van Buren, Arkansas will be scheduled at a later date. The family extends a sincere thank you to the caring employees at Fianna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Peachtree Hospice.
