Lenora Chavez 59 passed away on Saturday April 30, 2016. Lenora was born to Juan and Beatrice Chavez of Las Vegas, NM. She is preceded in death by her father Juan Chavez and uncles Eloy and Manuel (Tochita) Chavez. Lenora is survived by her loving mother Beatrice Chavez of Santa Fe, son Benjamin (Ashley) Martinez of Las Vegas, brothers Juanito Chavez of Santa Fe and David (Dorothy) Chavez of Las Vegas, Godson Juanito Chavez Jr. of Santa Fe, granddaughter Alexia Martinez of Las Vegas as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosary will be recited at 8:15 am Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am Monday. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Santa Fe.
