Leo James Anaya

Leo James Anaya, Jr. passed into eternal life with his Lord and Savior from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on July 12, 2018. Leo loved the Lord! Leo is survived by his wife Angela, children Julian, Deanna and Gary Merino. Grandchildren, Delilah, Lily, Avah and Bella. His father, Leo Anaya Sr. and wife Geri, sister Renee, brother Clifford Valencia and wife Sandra. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Jane V. Anaya and brother Angelo Anaya. He was a member of the New Mexico Army National Guard and served in Iraq and Kuwait. Leo loved spending time with his grand babies, camping, fishing and going to church. Leo had a big heart and never gave up on God's mercy. A memorial services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Light at Mission Viejo Church in Santa Fe. A luncheon will follow the memorial service at the church. Following the luncheon, Leo will be buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
