Leonard Ezequel Lucier

Leonard Ezequiel Lucier, 57 of Alcalde, passed away Thursday April 10, 2014. He was born October 14, 1956 to William Bill and Sencionita Lucier who precede him in death. Mr. Lucier is survived by his daughters, Wendy Lucier of Albuquerque and Chellsie Lucier of Rio Rancho; three granddaughters: Lilly and Daisy Luna and Emily Anisa Rose Padilla; brothers and sisters: Barbara Valdez and husband Paul; Edith Romero and husband Johnny; William Lucier and wife Cindy; Irene Archuleta and husband Richard; and Edward Lucier and companion Marcella Martinez; and many other relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Darren Herrera, Anthony Lopez, Richard Archuleta, Johnny Romero, Johnny Pacheco and Robert Cortez. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerome Sanchez and all his nieces and nephews. A public visitation took place on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, New Mexico. A rosary was recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh.
