Leonard Gutierrez

It is with great sadness to announce Leonard (Leo) Adrian Gutierrez was called to the Lord unexpectedly on May 18, 2022.  Leo was born in Santa Fe, on August 3, 2002.  He is a 2022 graduate from Santa Fe High School.  He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Tito and Maida Quintana, special cousin Athena Martinez and many numerous other relatives.

Leo is survived by his mother Jessica Gutierrez, father Andrew Gutierrez, maternal grandparents Terry Gutierrez, Joseph Gutierrez, paternal grandparents Belinda Gutierrez, Freddie Gutierrez Jr., Godparents Gilbert Montoya, Pauline Montoya, Sister  Nevaeh Anaya, Brothers Marty Lopez, JoJo Gutierrez, Uncles Jose Gutierrez, Christopher Gutierrez, Special Auntie Melissa Gutierrez, cousins Christine Tapia (Kenny) Cousins Jaimito Medina, Jorge Medina, Samuel Gutierrez, Camillo Chavez, Aliciana Medina, Trinity Gutierrez, Destiny Gutierrez, Charlotte Tapia, Cole Tapia, and numerous Great Aunts, Great Uncles and cousins.

Leo was loved by everyone who knew him.  He had a contagious smile and a goofy personality.  He had many friends and got along with everyone he met.  He will greatly be missed but not forgotten.

Pall bearers will be Jose Gutierrez, Christopher Gutierrez, Jaimito Medina, Jorge Medina, JoJo Gutierrez, and Samuel Gutierrez.

Honorary Pall bearers will be Marty Lopez Jr., Josh Archuleta and Kobe Romero.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 9:00 am, followed by a Catholic funeral Mass at 10:00 am.  Interment will be at 11:00 am at Rosario Cemetery. The reception is being catered.
