Leonard “Lenny” Leroy LeRouge

It is with great sadness and extremely heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son Lenny on February 15, 2021. He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents Tony and Helen LeRouge, Leroy and Irene Ortiz and best friend David J. Silva. He is survived by his loving parents Leonard and Lori LeRouge, daughters Christiana and Jayla LeRouge and their mother Erica, sister Jeanelle Romero (Julian), nephews Anthony & Julian, niece Alycia and Breyana, godson Anthony Valdivia as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lenny was born on September 6, 1983 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He attended local schools and graduated from Capital High in       2002. After graduation he became a proud loving father of his children. Lenny was talented in many areas. He worked in the hospitality field for many years, as well as up at the Lab in Los Alamos, and most recently in construction. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys and Michael Jordan fan. Hunting and fishing with his Dad was special to him and they rarely came home empty handed. He was a devoted father and enjoyed spending time with his two beautiful daughters. His amazing personality and infectious smile lit up any room he walked into. Lenny was easy going, and genuinely a loving person with a huge heart that loved his family. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Parish located at 500 Alicia St, Santa Fe, NM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m.
