Leo Tafoya

Leo F. Tafoya of Ranchos de Taos passed away on February 27, 2008 after a lengthy illness. He retired as a Fleet Mechanic from the Town of Taos. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto & Felicitas Tafoya and sister, Susanne Tafoya. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elva Tafoya, children, Cleo Rodriguez (Ricky) of Abilene, TX, Erlinda Romero (Anthony) of Albuquerque, Peggy Vigil (Corwin) of Ranchos de Taos and Patrick Tafoya of Albuquerque. He is also survived by grandchildren, Enrique Rodriguez (Ashley), Arturo Rodriguez, Brian, Kevin, Emily and Matthew Romero, Bertha, Mateo, Shalynn, Corwin Jr. Vigil, great granddaughter, Breanna Morgan Rodriguez, sisters and brothers, Emma Tafoya, Manuel Tafoya (Mary), Evangeline Tafoya, Max Tafoya (Rose), Prescilla Esch (Tom), Ruby Martinez (Norman), Yolanda Aranda (Joe), Santiago Tafoya (Ruby), many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Rosary was recited on February 29, 2008 at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Funeral mass was held on March 01, 2008 at San Francisco de Asis Church, interment followed at the Talpa Cemetery.
