Leroy Adolfo Maestas

Leroy Adolfo Maestas, age 49 of Santa Cruz passed away on Thursday October 16th in Bernalillo. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather Bonifacio Maestas, Brother Lawrence Maestas, Niece Michelle Herrera, Nephew Ernest Jaramillo, Mother Adeline Maestas and Brother Joseph Maestas. Leroy enjoyed the outdoors and dancing, He worked most of his life in road construction as well as, carpentry. He is survived by his Father, Avenicio Maestas and Wife Anjela of Santa Cruz; Three Daughters Melanie Moya of Chimayo, Delilah and Janelle of Espanola; Two Sons Eric and Aaron of Albuquerque, Sisters Becky Arellano of Alcalde, Celia Martinez and companion Ramon of Chimayo, Martha Serrano and Husband George of Bernalillo, Isabel Jaramillo and Companion Denny of Carson, Brothers, Donald Herrera and Wife Cordie of Colorado; Gilbert Herrera and Wife Theresa of Chamita; Julian Herrera and Wife Theresa of Santa Fe; Joe Herrera and Wife Lydia of Albuquerque; Grand Children, Joshua Trujillo, Deanicca Moya and God Son, Andrew Trujillo. A favored Nephew Steve Jaramillo of Albuquerque and many other Nephews and Nieces whom he loved dearly. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday October 22nd at 7:30 pm at La Iglesia De Santa Cruz de La Canada in Santa Cruz. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am also at the same church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
