Leroy Lucero

Leroy William Lucero Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on November 23, 1936, passed away on November 6, 2106 in Santa Fe. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and was loved and respected by many. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from the Santa Fe Police Department. Leroy is survived by four children: Bernadette Galleges and husband Carlos, Leroy Lucero Jr. and wife, Sandra, Marco Lucero and wife, Sandra and Rick Muniz, eight grandchildren: Dominic, Andrea, Derek, Lukas, Lorinda, Melinda, Nathasha and Amber. Six great grandchildren Andres, Cruz, Eli, Domanic, Samantha and Alonzo. Sister Barbara Morales and husband Oscar, Consuelo Jaramillo and Helen Roney. Brothers Eugene Lucero and wife Diane and Leo Lucero. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Bernadita Lucero, two sons Jimmy and Baby Leroy Lucero and ex-wife Polly Lucero. Pallbearers will be: Dominic Gallegos, Andrea Lucero, Derek Lucero, Lukas Lucero, Natasha Lucero, and Lorinda Lucero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Melinda Vigil and Amber Lucero. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 7 pm at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church. The Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 11, at 11 am at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church.
