Leroy Michael Chavez

Leroy Michael Chavez, age 56 lifelong resident of Santa Fe passed away on January 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Chavez, sister Joann Chavez, and brother Richard Chavez. He is survived by his mother Lena Chavez, longtime girlfriend Darlene Castillo, daughters: Melissa Chavez Valdiviezo and husband Erasmo, Ashly Chavez and girlfriend JC, and their mother Debbie Chavez, sisters: Lorraine Chavez, Eileen Chavez and Phillip, grandchildren: Santiago Valdiviezo, Ariana Valdiviezo, Desiree Valdiviezo, Miranda Valdiviezo, Lizzy Castillo, Ricky Castillo, Destiny Castillo, Jazlyn Castillo, Anthony Castillo. He also leaves behind stepchildren: Raymond and wife Amelda, Ben, Eva, Milagro and wife Lynette, nephews and nieces: Mike Chavez, Richie Chavez and wife Lisa, Maria Chavez, Henry Tapia (Eva) and their children Angelo, Felicia and Mariah, Sandra Tapia, Jose Chavez, Jessica Chavez, Emmanuel Chavez, Lorenzo Chavez, Matthew Chavez, David Arellano and numerous beloved family and friends. Leroy was a very loving, caring and hardworking man. He was employed by the Five and Dime General Store for many years. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on Thursday February 1st at 11am at Santa Fe Vineyard Christian Fellowship located at 1352 San Juan Drive. Reception to follow at same location.
