Leroy Payne

LEROY PAYNE, born in Ojo Feliz N.M. a life time resident of Santa Fe, went home to be with the lord. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret of 54 years; ten children: Lorie Soliz and husband Joe Herrera, Trudy Dean and husband Aaron, Judy Korge and husband Rick, Julie Medina and husband Dino, Jim Payne and wife Maryann Coriz, Kelly Coriz and husband Robert, Tracy Dotson and husband Rick Padilla, Doug Payne and wife Sandra, Joey Payne and wife Gloria, Darren Payne and wife Jessica, 38 grandchildren and 34 great grand children whom he loved and adored, along with his faithful cat Soxx Brothers; Jack and wife Gloria, Neil and wife Lucy, Wayne and wife Vita, Danny and late wife Susie. Sister; Geraldine Anglemire, and numerous other family members and friends. He is proceeded in death by his parents Roy and Feloniz Payne and grand daughter Jennifer Soliz. Leroy was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was a great outdoors man and a devoted Broncos fan. He served in the U.S Military and was a master mechanic. He loved to play his guitar. He had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. ~When he is gone, when it is done and done'" I wont have to watch his films or play his recordings to remember, I'll carry his blood in my veins, his life's music in my heart and see his immortal soul in the bright loving eyes of my children.~ A rosary will be recited Monday June 30, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at 7:00P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 1,2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at10:00am. Military Honors will follow at the National Cemetery. Donations will be accepted at any Wells Fargo Bank location
