Lily Gomez

Lily Odelia Gomez, 92, a life-long resident of Taos, passed away on November 13, 2011. She was born in 1919 in Springer, NM. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John C. Gomez. Lily is survived by four sons; Vernon A. Gomez and wife, Lucille of Las Vegas, Nevada; John C. Gomez and wife, Patty of Placitas, NM; Ernesto M. Gomez and wife, Vivian of Tijeras, NM; Jim T. Gomez of Taos, NM; and one daughter, Olivia Ortiz and husband, Pete of Albuquerque, NM. Lilly is also survived by nine grandchildren; Bernie Cala, Vicky Kennelly, Steve Gomez, Martin Gomez, Angela Gomez, Joaquin Gomez, Christine Garcia, Paul Ortiz and Stephanie Ortiz, six great grandchildren, Elias Cala, Adam, Joshua and Zachary Garcia; Elijah and Sierra Martinez. She was cremated and there will be a private service for family members at a later date.
