Lily L. Gonzales, 84 – A lifelong resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away February 20, 2019. She was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Rafaelita Lovato; sons: Leonard and John C de Baca. She is survived by her husband, Miguel Gonzales; daughter, Miquela Gonzales; grandchildren: Joaquin C de Baca (Ana), Shanda C de Baca, Amanda C de Baca (Tony), Christopher C de Baca, Justin C de Baca, Marquel Aragon; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joe Lovato (Priscilla), Dolores Lopez, Ruben Lovato (Loretta) and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Lily was the 1st female police officer to retire from the Santa Fe City Police Department after 20 years of service and went on to serve our community as a Probate Judge for the Santa Fe County for 12 years. She was a charter member and former president of the Fraternal Order of Police. A Special Thank you to Del Corazon Hospice, Delilah C de Vaca and Tina Anaya for your comfort and care. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Santa Maria de la Paz Church with Funeral Mass to follow at 9:30 a.m. The interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m.
