Lizzie Vigil

Lizzie Vigil, 95, of Cerro, New Mexico went peacefully with our Lord on September 23, 2016. Lizzie was born January 1, 1921 to Enrique Vigil and Maria Eusebia Archuleta. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Anna Maria, son, Henry Vigil, brothers, Gaspar, Ruben and Joe Vidal, sisters, Elvira, Bertha, Della, Nora, Laura, two stepbrothers, Jose R and Eddie, two stepsisters, Virginia and Leonila, stepmothers, Tomasita Chavez and Felomena Gallegos and son-in-law, Floyd Quintana. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Quintana (Dale), grandchildren, Cheryl (Ben), Dale (Corine), Julio (Jennifer), Delilah (Brandon), Adrian Armijo, 11 great grandchildren, brother, Vincent Vigil (Mercedes) of Denver, CO, sisters, Angela and Betty Vigil of Cerro, Teresa Segura (Steve) of Questa, NM, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a devout Catholic, belonged to many organizations within the Catholic Church. She was also very active in the community. Rosary was recited on September 28, 2016. Funeral mass was held on September 29, 2016. Both services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe church in Cerro with interment following at the Cerro Cemetery.
