Lorrayne Aguilar

1962 — January 5, 2025

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Lorrayne Aguilar, who left us way too soon on January 5th, 2025, at the young age of 62. A woman of boundless love, infectious laughter, and an unwavering spirit. She brought joy and light to everyone she met, and color to every place she went.

Lorrayne had an incredible sense of humor that could brighten the darkest day. Whether sharing a funny joke without an ending, a playful prank, or just her infectious laughter, she knew how to make people smile. Her ability to bring out the best in everyone around her was truly a gift. She had a heart that overflowed with kindness, and her generosity knew no bounds. She spread love and laughter anywhere and everywhere she went.

She was a lover of the simple things in life. She saw the beauty in everyone & everything. She knew how to make everyone feel special, regardless of their stature in society. Her zest for crafting and adventure was matched only by her love for her family and friends. To know Lorrayne was to experience her unwavering optimism and her ability to find joy even in the most challenging circumstances.

She is survived by her loving husband Joe, her beautiful daughter and best friend Tabitha Love, her free-spirited, tender-hearted daughter Christa, her adventurous and funny son Geez, her "Niño Lindo" her son JJ, & her grandchildren Micah, Owen, Hanna, Nevaeh, London, Zariah, Brooklyn & Ryder! She is reunited in heaven with her baby, her "Angel boy" whom she loved and missed dearly Joey, her Mother Aida, and her brothers Ruben and David.

Preceded in death by Joe’s mother, her mother- in-law Elba Coca-Ramiro-Aguilar, Priscilla Coca, Joseph Michael Aguilar SR, Danny Raymond Aguilar, and Lori Dominique Aguilar.

She also leaves behind her baby brother Efren Herrera, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all who will forever cherish her memory and the warmth of her love. Though she has left this world, her legacy of laughter, love, and light will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

In honor of her spirit, a colorful & bright celebration of her life will be held where friends and family are invited to share stories, laughter, and memories, of a woman who made the world a better place with every step she took. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved son Joey, on his birthday, March 15, 2025, at the family resting place of Las Cruces Cemetery in the town of Taos, New Mexico. TAOS is not her hometown; it's the family cemetery.

Rest in peace, Lorrayne. You will always be remembered with love and laughter. It’s never goodbye. Until we meet again, rest in love “beautiful flower”!
