Lorriane Erlinda Lujan

Lorraine Erlinda Lujan, Age 78 of Espanola passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Porfirio and Lugardita Lujan and siblings: Cecilia Beatriz, Ricardo Abel and Maria Josefita Lujan She is survived by her sisters: Julia L. Wallace of Jemez, Pauline L. Quintana and husband Kino of Espanola, Flora L. Martinez and husband Tony of Ranchitos and Mayble DeAguero of California. Her loving nieces: Sandra, Rochelle, Kim, Kina, Nova-Lea and Seansay. A very special niece Tamara who lived with her for more than 30 years. Also, her best friend Patsy Gallegos and many other friends and relatives. Lorraine worked many years at the Espanola Hospital and the Hacienda de Salud Nursing Home where she was well liked by the residents that most of them could only remember her name more than any other staff member. Lorraine was a riot, she could make you laugh until you wet your pants and she loved to laugh. Lori as we called her was funny, stubborn, very cool, witty, charming and sometimes devilish, she was caring and very kind. Other than the love of her family and friends Lori loved 3 things: men, beer and the casino (not necessarily in that order). We will miss her beyond words.A rosary will be prayed on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 7PM at the Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola, NM. Burial will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers: Alfred Apodoca, Lendale Lasetter, Gabriel "Lucky" Lassetter, Tim Montoya, Jemuel Montoya and Rochelle Lasetter. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers: Seansay Clayton, Allen Clayton, Nova-Leah Bradshaw and Kino Quintana.
