Louisa O. Cardenas

Louisa O. Cardenas, 83, of Questa, New Mexico passed away peacefully at her home on January 5, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Euligio and Rosita Ortega, parents in-law, Willie and Celina Cardenas, granddaughter, Christina Sanchez, grandson, Lito Romero, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by the love of her life for 63 years, Abe Cardenas, children, Connie Archuleta (Jimmy), Rosie Sanchez (Moises), Michael Cardenas (Roberta), Carla Apodaca (Raul), Anna Cardenas, 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Arabella Lujan and Cecilia Gonzales (Tony). She was a dedicated Guadalupana and loved to sing in her church choir. She suffered with Alzheimers disease for the past 8 years and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. Rosaries were recited on January 7, 2016 at Rivera Chapel in Taos and on January 8, 2016 at the Questa Parish. Funeral mass was held on January 9, 2016 at the Questa Parish.
