Louis Espinosa

Louis Gustavo Espinosa Sr., age 64 of Santa Fe passed away August 14, 2016 due to a lengthy illness. He was born April 22, 1952 to Dolores and Aurelio Espinosa. Louis is preceded in death by his parents Dolores & Aurelio Espinosa, father-in-law Avelino Gurulé and brother –in-law Joe Alvarez. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Florence Stephanie, daughter Angelique, son Louis Jr., grandchildren Estrella, Donald, Aurelio & Jacob, sister’s Rachel Alvarez and Sonia Gabaldon (Frank), brother Martin Espinosa (Linda), Rick Ortiz (Sue), mother-in-law Dora Gurulé, brother-in-laws Robert Larranaga, Avelino Edward Gurulé, sister-in-law Corrina Piñon (Natividad), numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends whom he loved very much. Louis was a very proud Vietnam Veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus, a loving grandfather, father, husband and friend. Pallbearers are Louis Jr., Michael Alvarez, Robert Larranaga, Avelino E. Gurulé, Rick Ortiz, Joey Montoya, Tom Fuentes, Natividad Piñon and Fabian Piñon. Honorary Pallbearers are Martin Espinosa, Frank Gabaldon, Arthur Alvarez, Sean Espinosa, John Denko and Russell Gunn. Viewing Sunday, August 21st, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. Rosary following at 6:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Funeral Mass Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. Burial at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
