Loyola T. Gallegos

Loyola Teresina Medina Gallegos, 79, of Penasco passed away on October 8, 2012 after much suffering which she endured with patience our beloved wife and mother Loyola went to her creator to receive her reward. Loyola was a humble, pious woman who gave much love to every one she met. Loyola always looked for the best in every one and this virtue earned her many a lasting friendship. She was proceded in death by her parents Ciriaco Medina & Socorrito Martinez, three brothers Juan Manuel, Jose and Eufracio Medina, three sisters Anicacia, Petrolina and Pascuala Sanchez; her mother-law-in (whom she loved like a mother), Adelina. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Jose Gallegos, her children Sam (Dolores), Evelyn, Rose, Nora (Marvin), Lugarda and Ralph. Nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren One sister Belinda Medina, her beloved nephew whom she loved as a brother, Herson Medina (Emily), two sisters-in-law Helen and Peggy Medina, 5 brothers in law, Zenovio Medina (Maria), Jose Ciriaco Medina (Helen), Howard Medina, Manual Medina, Jr. (Darlene), Abraham Medina (Nancy), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. Loyola also had many godchildren and they each held a special place in her heart. Rosary was recited on October 11, 2012. Funeral mass was held on October 12, 2012. Both were held at San Antonio de la Padua Church with interment following at the Llano Morada.
