Lucille Edna Downs

Lucille M. Downs of Taos passed away on September 19, 2006. She was born in Zanesville, OH on November 21, 1921. She owned and operated for many years, Mr. Duffy's Kids Play Space and was loved by many Taos children. Many knew her for her volunteer work with the Kit Carson Museums. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Spung in 1970 and second husband, Ralph Downs in 1985, sisters, Margaret Mace and Irene Alderman. She is survived by her sons, Richard Spung II of Taos and John Spung of Monterey, CA, grandchildren, Stacey Tomasello of Monterey, CA, Cameron Spung (Tesheena) of Taos, Carlin Spung of Taos, great grandchildren, Adrian Hunter Spung of Taos, Arianna and Nathaniel Tomasello and Rachel Spung all of Monterey, CA, brothers and sisters, Robert and William McCance both of California, Doris Peterman and Marie McWilliams both of Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews. At her request no services will be held.
