Luis Cardenas

Luis Narcisco Cardenas age 85, of Questa passed away on September 09, 2017. Luis was born to Felix and Petrita Cardenas on October 15, 1931 in El Prado, NM. Luis proudly served in the U.S. Army and is a Korean War veteran. He worked for the Molycorp Mine for 25 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Cora; sons, Avenancio Cardenas, Frank (Bro. Martin) Cardenas, and Mennard Cardenas; daughters are Mara Ramos (Bobby), Veronica Lamendola (John), and Angela Paras (Michael); grandchildren are Nicole O’Donnell (Terrence), Brian Ramos, Kevin and Eric Lamendola , Annalee and Cora Paras; Great grandchildren are Terrence III and Bobby O’Donnell; brother, Tony Cardenas and sister, Dolores Diekmann. In addition he was survived by numerous nephews, nieces, friends and relatives. Funeral mass was held September 15, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with interment following at San Pedro Catholic Cemetery.
