Luis Vigil

Luis Vigil 92, Santa Fe resident went to be with our Lord on December 22, 2017. He was born on December 29, 1924 in San Miguel, NM to Antonia Crespin and Hilario Vigil, he married Maria Elena Tafoya in October 17, 1946 in Santa Fe, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents Hilario and Antonia Vigil, brother Robert Vigil, sister’s Beatrice Gonzales and Mary Romero. He is survived by his wife Helen Vigil, daughter Cecilia (Ricardo Cecena), son David Vigil, granddaughter Louise Newbill (Travis), greatgrandchildren Victoria, Olivia, and Nicholas Padilla, brother’s Isidor and Hermie Vigil, sister Betty Sanchez (Don) and Eloisa Bustos all from Santa Fe, NM. Luis Vigil was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather. He was known for his great love for his family, and his sense of humor. He was a proud Army Veteran, he served in World War II. Mass will be on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe at 12:00pm followed by Internment at 2:15pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
