Lynne Fritschi, 86, beloved Mother of Amy, Tom, and Julia, and step-Mother to Eric, Evan and Carla, was called to her eternal resting place on November 26, 2020. She entered this world on February 9, 1934, in Marshall, Michigan, born to Ralph and Florence Kline. Lynne attended Asbury College in Kentucky and became a beautician. After starting her family, Lynne stopped working and thoroughly loved her role as housewife and Mom. Lynne later returned to the workplace, distinguishing herself as an employee of Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she worked, of course, with haircare and beauty products. The daughter of a Methodist minister, Lynne's entire life was defined by her devotion to Christ, a devotion shared by her late husband Carl Fritschi. Lynne would light up whenever she undertook a project involving care of or service to others, and she became a mentor to young mothers in the MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Scoolers) program. Lynne was the ultimate hostess and her creativity in the kitchen and with home decor earned her the nickname "Martha Stewart on Steroids." Not one to ever put her feet up, Lynne's kitchen was frequently converted to a "beauty shop" on weekends, where her talent with hair styling and color transformed family and friends. Lynne was an excellent seamstress and could be found in front of her Singer late at night sewing school theater costumes, ball gowns, and even riding jackets for her horse-crazy eldest daughter!
A memorial service will be held on December 6, 2020 at 11:30am CT through Zoom.
