Mabel Harmon, 78, of Ranchitos passed away on February 17, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Mabel worked as a cook for the Taos Municipal Schools for 15 years. She also was a babysitter for 10 years. She was a woman of great faith. Her father, Miguel Gonzales, mother, Sabina Mondragon, brother, Baloy Mondragon, precedes her in death, also her in laws, Augustine and Amada Harmon. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Augustine Harmon Jr., children, Diana Harmon (Martin), James Harmon (Debbie), Jeanette Harmon-Vigil (Mark) and Annette Suazo (Loren), 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother, Lino Mondragon, sister, Isabel Romero, half sister, Vicki Silva, close cousin, Marcella Archuleta, very close relative, Albert Morgas and many other relatives.
Viewing services were held on February 20, 2011 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral service was held on February 21, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 235 Camino del Santiago, Taos. Interment was held at the Pacheco Cemetery.
