Mabel M. Martinez

Mabel M. Martinez, 73, of Chamisal passed away on May 14, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Adauto and Cleofas Romero, in-laws, Esquipula and Beroniz Martinez, brother, Nicomedes Romero, sister, Precedes Martinez, sons, Andres, Gerald and Felimon Martinez, brothers in law, Jose R. Romero, Daniel Rodriguez, Adolfo Romero, Jose Martinez, Olivas Maes and Armando Martinez. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Alferino Martinez, daughters, Christine Martinez Anna Martinez (David), Priscilla Aaron (James), Josephine Martinez, son, Dennis Martinez (Pamela), 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers, Esequiel Romero (Orlinda), Juan Romero (Georgia), sisters, Matilde Romero (Moises), Frances Romero, Angelica Rodriguez, Brother in-law, Henry Martinez, sisters in-law, Carlotta Martinez, Isabel Maes, Carol Lopez, Helen Martinez and numerous other friends and relatives. Serving as Pallbearers are Adrian and Jamey Aaron, David Jr., Damien and Adam Lucero and Dennis Martinez Jr. Rosary was recited on May 16, 2012. Funeral mass was held on May 17, 2012. Both were held at the San Antonio de la Padua Catholic Church in Penasco with interment following at the Chamisal Cemetery.
