Macario Romero

Macario Romero, 82, of Rodarte, passed away on May 16, 2008. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Montoya, and grand-daughter Michelle Montoya, parents Elaisa and Jacobo Romero, mother and father in law, Carlotta and Levi Gonzales, brother, Olivario Romero, sisters, Edna Maestas and Eva Lawless. He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Teodorita Romero, children, Carlotta Martinez (Ralph), Bobby Romero (Carmen), Josephine Romero, Gilbert Romero, Lawrence Romero (Agnes), Julian Romero (Antoinette), Herbert Romero, Elaisa Romero and Dion Romero, 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on May 19, 2008 and funeral mass on May 20, 2008, both held at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Penasco. Interment followed at San Acacio Cemetery in Llano Largo.
