Magdalena Trujillo Espinoza, Born June 23, 1910 in San Luis, Colorado to Valentin and Celsa Trujillo, she went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 22, 2010. She would have celebrated her 100th birthday next month. She was preceded in death by her husband Leandro Espinoza, sons Ernesto and Ben Espinoza, daughter Celsa Quintana, grandsons Jimmy Espinoza and Daniel Quintana, great-grandson Christopher Montalvo, brothers Abel and Willie Trujillo, sister Ramoncita Garcia, and sister-in-law Pilar Espinoza. She is survived by her daughters Martha E. Vigil and Josie E. Lujan, both of Chimayo, brothers Guadalupe Trujillo and Narciso Trujillo, sister Mary (Manuel) Montoya, daughter-in-law Theresa Espinoza and Ruby Marchant, and grandchildren Lloyd Vigil, Lloyda Vigil, Mary Ester (Tommy) Lucero, Mary Rose (Michael) Montalvo, Mary Jo Lujan, Mary Beth Lujan, Mary Margaret (Steve) Ney, David Quintana, Dolores (Paul) Roybal, Dennis Quintana, Diane Quintana, Erneda Espinoza, Leroy (Dona) Espinoza, Angela (Carlos) Padilla, Julie (Michael) Martinez, and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren and special friend Anita Sandoval. She lived a long beautiful life, and was Grandma to all who knew her. She cherished visits from the six generations of family she leaves behind, as well as her many friends and neighbors in Chimayo. A rosary service will be held at Holy Family Church in Chimayo on Monday May 24, 2010, at 8:00p.m. (following the 7:00p.m. mass), funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church in Chimayo on Tuesday May 25, 2010 at 10:00a.m., followed by interment at Ntra. Sr. Del Carmel Cemetery in Chimayo.
