Maida Quintana, born July 22, 1937, went to be with our Lord on June 17, 2008 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leondro and Mary Montoya, brother Leondro Montoya Jr., sisters: Catherine Valdez and Bernie Gallegos and son Phillip "Leonard" Quintana, and grandchildren Leroy Garcia and Jessie Quintana. Maida dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Above all, she was a great and lovely soul that will never be forgotten. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years: Everisto "Tito" Quintana, her children: Elizabeth Cordova, Marie Montoya and companion Jose Rodriguez, Esther Quintana and companion Ben Vigil, Terry Gutierrez, Diana Vigil and husband Mike, Arthur Quintana and wife Patsy, Carmen Quintana, Olivia Gutierrez and husband Roberto, Bernadette Salazar and husband Anthony "Dennis", Jeanette War and husband Ben, Andrew Quintana and companion Felicia Martinez, sisters: Julia Chavez, Matilde Quintana and husband Ascencion, 43 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and many more relatives. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 7:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 20, 2008 at 1:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Miguel Garcia, Arthur Quintana Jr., Andrew Paul Saiz, Jose Gutierrez, Ben War Jr., and Bobby Gutierrez Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are: Leroy Montoya and Phillip Quintana..
