Manuel Andres Maestas, Jr.

Manuel Andres Maestas, Jr., 78, of Talpa passed away on June 6, 2014. He was a very proud veteran, serving in the United States Air Force and the Army National Guard. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Teresita Atencio, grandson, Luke Atencio, parents, Andres and Eloisa Maestas, brothers, Alex (Josie), Ralph (Dorothy-Priscilla) and Landy, sister, Guillerma M. Romero (Joe). He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Anastacio Maestas (Kathy), Ubaldo Maestas (Linda), Manuel Maestas (Cecilia), Esther Santistevan (Roy), Corine Valdez (Eugene), Bernie Maestas, Tomasita Maestas, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to all the staff at the Taos Living Center. Rosary was recited on June 15, 2014 at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Funeral mass was held on June 16, 2014 at the Chapel in Talpa.
