Manuel Mendoza

January 9, 1946 — September 12, 2021

Manuel Carlos Mendoza aka: Charlie or Biker nickname “Madman” passed away peacefully at 75 years in his home in Pecos, New Mexico on September 12, 2021.  Manuel was born January 9, 1946, in Santa Fe New Mexico to Salomon Mendoza and Katherine (Gomez) Mendoza, he was the fourth of six children, surviving siblings, Ricarda “Ricky” Montoya, Betty Vinzant, Jackie Mendoza, Jimmy Mendoza and Larry Mendoza.  Manuel was preceded in death by his parents and his Daughter Angela Martinez and Son Antonio Mendoza and his second wife Lori Campbell.  He is survived by Eight children: Angelina L Marquez, Angela Montoya, Salomon Mendoza, Carlos Mendoza, Michael Mendoza, Rachel Pfiefle, Charlie Jacoby, and Kayla Jay Mendoza along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his ex-wife Donna Wolff.

Manuel held a variety of jobs at an early age from dishwasher, waiter, tortilla delivery man, tow truck driver, vacuum cleaner salesman, and even Installing radars on fighter aircraft in Silicon Valley.  Ultimately Manuel settled as a brick mason and General Contractor with The Mendoza family construction company. Manuel worked with his brothers and their father Solomon, they were one of the first and finest Adobe Home builders in Santa Fe. Manuel had a very artistic passion for building and loved to ride his custom built choppers on the open road with his many friends and family whom he loved. He will truly be missed.  Vaya Con Dios Pappa!

Funeral Services will held be on Wednesday September 29, 2021 @ 10:00 AM at Rivera Family Funeral on Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
