Manuel Ortiz, Sr.

Manuel Ortiz, Sr., 102, of Arroyo Hondo passed away September 7, 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Ortiz, daughter, Leonora Ortiz, daughter in law, Frances Ortiz and grandson, Manuel Ortiz III, parents, Anastacio and Rosita Ortiz and brother, Marcos Ortiz. He is survived by his children, Bernadette Romero (Dickie), Rosa Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz Jr., Leonardo Ortiz (Carmen), Lawrence Ortiz, Leandro Ortiz, Marcos Ortiz (Stephanie), MaryAlice Ortiz, Palmela Ortiz-Reed (Vincent), 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on September 9, 2012 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Arroyo Hondo. Funeral mass was held on September 10, 2012. Both were held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with interment following at the Upper Arroyo Hondo Cemetery.
