Manuel A. Trujillo, 84, of Taos passed away on January 25, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. of natural causes. Born September 9, 1925 in Taos NM to Juan Manuel Trujillo and Domitila Miera. Married June 10, 1950, San Antonio TX to Aida Josephine Flores. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and oil painting. Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Served LDS Church mission in Southwestern US for 2.5 years. WWII Veteran who served in the US Navy for 2.5 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Aida Josephine Flores Trujillo on March 14, 2003 and grandson, Jon Trujillo on December 28, 2007. He is survived by children: Art Jr. (Bonnie), Marta (Allen), David, Veronica (Rick), Levi (Donna), Edwina (Greg), 38 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Ursula, Tito, Jesse and Marcia and many other relatives.
Public Viewing was held on January 29, 2010 at Rivera Chapel. Services were held on January 30, 2010 at the LDS Chapel, 307 Camino De Santiago, Taos with interment following at the Miera Family Cemetery.
