Mara Padilla

September 29, 1995 - October 25, 2021

Mara was born in Carrollton, Texas but lived in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. for most of her life. She moved to Santa Fe in 2014 in order to attend Santa Fe University of Art and Design.

Mara was the beloved daughter of Ginger Heidig and Hernan Francisco Padilla Jr.

She was an accomplished artist, animal lover, and advocate for human rights.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light located at 417 East Rodeo Rd. Santa Fe NM, 87505.
