Marcelina M. Maestas

Marcelina M. Maestas, 98 a resident of La Puebla passed away on March 13, at the Espanola Valley Nursing Home. She was a member of the Holy Family Association and a member of the Sociedad Nuestra Senora Del Carmen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel D. Maestas, sons: Cornelio, Israel, and Richard Maestas; and a daughter, Felicitas Vigil. May their souls rest in peace. She is survived by her daughters: Stella Naranjo and her husband Ramon Jr., Geraldine Arebalos all of Espanola, and Lillian Guillen and her husband Tony of Alcalde; daughter in-law, Rita Maestas of La Puebla; special granddaughter, Doreen Martinez and her husband Ronald of La Puebla; 34 grandchildren; 89 great grandchildren; 71 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. A devotional service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary in Espanola with Pastor Mike Naranjo. Recitation of the rosary will take place on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 7:00 pm also at Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 1:00 pm at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial will follow at the La Puebla Community Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Dennis Martinez, Jesse Naranjo, Israel Maestas, Jr., Tommy Maestas, Michael Aragon and Ronald K.
