Joseph Mark Quintana, (also known as Shark), beloved father, husband, brother and friend was born November 25 which was Thanksgiving Day the year he was born. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 5, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Pablo J. Quintana and Rose M. Quintana, infant sister Cindy Quintana, his father-in-law Nicolas Carrasco Torres and his grandparents, Jose Maria and Alicia Quintana, and Juan Antonio and Lucinda Martinez. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia Quintana and his children, Jessica, Nicolas, Mariana and Maria Fernanda. Survivors also include his siblings: Edna Pena(Arturo), Meliton Quintana (Vickie), Felix Quintana (Elsie), Nancy Quintana, Alice Quintana Lopez, Connie Garcia (Reynaldo), Pablo Quintana (Audrey), Annette Salazar (Nathan), Arnold Quintana (Patricia), Pablito Quintana and one granddaughter, Avaleah Trujillo. Mark is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and other relatives and hundreds of friends.
Mark was always full of life. His passions were fishing, hunting, camping, horseback riding, as well as skiing. He enjoyed doing carpentry, woodworking, and welding. His family was the most important part of his life, and he instilled in them a great respect for family. He was a devoted member of his church and taught his family the importance of faith and devotion.
First Rosary was recited on March 7, 2017 at Rivera Chapel. Second Rosary was recited on March 8, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Arroyo Seco. Funeral Mass was held on March 9, 2017 at Holy Trinity Church with interment following at the Arroyo Seco Cemetery.
