Margaret Baca

Margaret Patricia Baca passed away peacefully on Oct. 4, 2023. She went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was born in Santa Fe to Margarito Baca and Vitalia Garcia on Jan. 2, 1957. She was caring and loved to help others that were in need.Margaret was preceded in death by her grandfather Domingo Maestas, father Margarito Baca, sister Dolores Garcia, brother Diego Benavidez and the wonderful lady that raised her, Grama Frances Dominguez. She also lived with Grama Helen Martinez and her big family.Margaret is survived by her mother Vitalia Garcia, daughters: Meliza, Vanessa (Chris) and Sonia (Memo), sons: Johnny (April) and Jarrod (Darlene), her grandchildren: Kedisha (Christian), Sativa, Mariah, Isaiah, Jarraca, Phillip, Alyssa, Jalen, Yamilex, Emilio, Yavianni, and great grandchildren: Donnie, D’Angelo, Jariah, Armando and Lavae. Her siblings are Frank, Carmen, Joe, Dominic and Monica. She has many nephews, nieces and cousins.She had a big family but nothing was more important to her than her kids and grandchildren. She loved them with all her heart, until her heart stopped beating. Now she is our Angel watching over us.

Margaret Baca's Celebration of Life service is on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Vineyard Church: 1352 San Juan Dr, Santa Fe, NM 87505 at 11:30 am. The reception will follow at the Church. Thank you!
